Biography
Jubaida Auhana Faruque is a PhD student in Political Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she specializes in comparative politics. She holds a Master's in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh and Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Dhaka. Her research focuses on securitization, forced displacement, conflict, and public opinion and political behavior, with regional interests in South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. She has worked as a research assistant on mixed-methods projects, served as Editor-in-Chief of the Pitt Policy Journal, and most recently worked as a content adversarial red team analyst at Highspring by Google. Her work has appeared in outlets including Social Science Review, Pitt Policy Journal, Journal of Psychology and Theology, and Global Implementation Research and Applications.
