Political science professor Wendy Tam Cho is fascinated by the redistricting process. So much so that she and her research colleague Yan Liu developed an algorithm using the Blue Waters supercomputer, that generates billions of maps reflecting the Supreme Court criteria as well as partisanship. Professor Cho spoke with Craig Chamberlain at the News Bureau about gerrymandering and the upcoming Supreme Court case.
