Political Science Curriculum

Students with a major in political science will enjoy small classes with top-rated faculty on exciting and innovative topics. Beginning in Fall 2018 students will also have the opportunity to declare a concentration within the political science major.

Students who begin at Illinois in or after Fall 2018 will follow the new curriculum explained here.

Students who began at Illinois prior to Fall 2018 have the option to stay with the current curriculum or switch the the new curriculum. Students are encouraged to speak with an academic advisor to discuss which curriculum is best for them.
