Political Science PhD alumnus Dr. Sumit Ganguly (’84) has been elected as a 2017 Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Dr. Ganguly is currently a Professor of Political Science at Indiana University Bloomington, where he also holds the Rabindranath Tagore Chair in Indian Cultures and Civilizations.
